Massachusetts Medicaid is the governing body.
Overview: Medicaid, also known as MassHealth in Massachusetts, is a mix of CHIP and Medicaid programs that provides healthcare coverage to pregnant women, children, people with breast or cervical cancer, and those who are HIV-positive.
Medicaid Programs:
- Adult Day Health Care Medicaid Programs

- Services Personal Care Attendant Group Waiver Program for
- Enhanced Adult Family Care / Caregiver Homes
Income Prerequisites:
- Income up to 100% of the FPL ($1,025 per month) for one person for seniors
- Adults under the age of 65 can earn up to 138% of the FPL ($1,388 per month) for one individual.
- Income up to 155% of the FPL ($2,098 per month) for two people for children under the age of 21.
- Income up to 200% of the FPL ($2,775 per month) for two people for pregnant women
- Income up to 255% of the FPL ($2,564 per month) for one individual for breast or cervical cancer patients
